This painting looks more south towards Pt. Melbourne but still retains the Westgate. With more intimacy in the foreground, Beverly has reminded us of a history as long as any in Victoria. The century-old houses and the "Bridge" show so much of our short history. As yet, the only sign of the changes to come is the new Port Control Tower under construction.
